Child safety standards
Last updated: 21 September 2026
So, Did You? is an app where groups of friends keep track of daily habits together. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualises children: messages, photos, group names, questions, display names or profile photos.
- Trying to contact a child for sexual purposes, deceive them or persuade them to meet in person (grooming).
- Sharing, requesting or pointing to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Forcing a child to produce sexual content through blackmail, threats or payment (sextortion).
The app is not open to children under 13.
How to report
- In the app: press and hold the message in the chat and choose Report; for photo proof, open the photo and tap Report. You can block the person from the member list.
- By email: volkanerenee@gmail.com. We prioritise reports on this subject.
- If a child is in danger right now, call your local emergency number first (112 in Turkey and the EU).
What we do
- We review reported content as quickly as possible; content we find to contain CSAE or CSAM is removed and the account is closed permanently.
- We report CSAM and situations where a child is in danger to the competent authorities in line with Turkish law and other applicable laws (in Turkey, the General Directorate of Security; in international cases, NCMEC). We keep the records needed for investigation for the legally required period.
- Messages, group names and display names are automatically checked for objectionable content before they are sent.
